my mind is a labyrinth
cacophony of
and scepticism
it’s an unsolved mystery
I pass hither and thither
colliding with skies and oceans
bed of clouds
and bed of seashells
the mirror reflects fierce face
hiding the scars.
shiny skin.
glittery eyes.
swollen lips

I may swallow orange peels out of madness
And sometimes the left crumbs of my skin out of sadness
I may bleed through my veins
My heart may choke at times
down the thorat.
Into the nerves.
and spines.
I may daydream or face nightmares
And pass the shadows across the aisle
I may gaze zillions of stars all night
Counting the days I spent with you
or revisiting the moments
all to come to one conclusion
of unrequited love.

I read poems. Sometimes I write poems. And when I am doing nothing, I am sipping coffee.

  1. Beautiful use of words to pen down the mood and ambiance.. 😊😊
    Nicely written Shreya.. 😊😊
The picture of the Eiffel Tower, though in B/W, is still great.. The flowers would have looked more vibrant in colour during the day..!! Nice photography too..
