Crimson Flowers

yesterday morning
as I strolled through the way
I came across the crimson flowers
that turned my heart joyous and gay
the sparkling lush green meadows
and the efflorescence of mother nature
glazing as jewel in the crown
my heart delightful like the shining sun
and my soul gladdened
as flocculating white clouds

a butterfly sits on a flower
sipping its honey nectar
locked up in the tender arms
being kissed by the sunshine
and I stand there surprised
in the corner hiding my musings beneath the bosom
observing the amaranthine beauty around
and I ask myself
what could be more alluring
than this
green velvet nature
and the pearl white sky

I read poems. Sometimes I write poems. And when I am doing nothing, I am sipping coffee.
